Happy Halloween from All Things Girl! Our Man on Monday for this week is one of the younger people we’ve featured, and – as his interview says – his career is just beginning to take off, but as someone who has been fortunate enough to perform audio improv with him on and off for over [...]

by Debra Smouse on 17. Oct, 2011 in ATG Interview, Men on Monday
Seventeen Year Old Josh Flitter has been in the entertainment business since he was four. Our readers may recognize your name or your face, but tell us a bit about who you are, and how you got where you are today. I began acting at the very young age of 5 years old. I had [...]
Man on Monday: Author Michael Robotham
by Debra Smouse on 13. Jun, 2011 in Men on Monday
Tell our readers about your background. Where are you from, and how did you start writing for a living? I dreamed of being a writer from about the age of thirteen when I was growing up in a small country town in Australia – a place with more dogs than people and more flies than [...]
Man on Monday: Singer-Songwriter Steve Azar
by Debra Smouse on 30. May, 2011 in Men on Monday
Soulful singer-songwriter, Steve Azar, is once again making an impact across the country with his moving tune, “Soldier Song.” This week, the song became available for purchase through iTunes, with portions of the proceeds raised by sales of “Soldier Song” benefiting Jared Allen’s Home 4 Wounded Warriors – a non-profit organization designed to build handicap [...]
Man on Monday: Chef and Author, James Briscione
by Lorissa on 23. May, 2011 in Men on Monday
Most of our readers are meeting you for the first time. Tell us a little about yourself. I’m a southern boy living in New York City, doing everything that I love. First and foremost I have a beautiful wife who is my partner in life–and the kitchen– and we have the most amazing daughter who [...]
Men on Monday: Author Lawrence Block
by Debra Smouse on 09. May, 2011 in Men on Monday
A DROP OF THE HARD STUFF, through a flashback narrative device, is set in the Eighties. What you like or remember best of that period? (one time-related thing that I, as reader, appreciated as “refreshing” in A DROP OF THE HARD STUFF is that there are no cellphones and no Internet!) Well, I was thirty [...]
Man on Monday: Singer/Songwriter, Ryan Lutz
by Roxanne Ravenel on 18. Apr, 2011 in Men on Monday
I wrote the song about somebody I had a crush on at the time, and she definitely knew I liked her, thus the song title She Knows I wanted to write something, that was just a feel-good song, that’s easy and fun to listen too. Those are my favorite kind of songs.
Man on Monday: Musician, Jas Patrick
by Roxanne Ravenel on 07. Mar, 2011 in Men on Monday
I have recently released my debut album, Working On My Soul and we’re beginning the long process of promoting it to people, media and media people. I can’t really simply state the genre because I cover a lot of areas on the album; so that makes it difficult for me to say what kind of singer-songwriter I am. I believe most reviewers have said something along the lines of “Rock/R&B/Soul/Blues/Jazz.” We have difficulty narrowing it down a lot more than that.
Man on Monday: Singer/Songwriter Savio Rego
by Roxanne Ravenel on 21. Feb, 2011 in Men on Monday
As far as composing, I write organically…things that come natural, feels good to play, sound good to my ears. It’s kind of like the songs are already in me. The challenge is to get them out in the purest form without letting the distractions around me get in the way.

by Roxanne Ravenel on 29. Nov, 2010 in Men on Monday
Tell us about yourself. Where are you from and how did you get started in music? I grew up in a small town in Texas. I learned how to play guitar from my Dad, and after a while, playing the guitar took over my entire focus. I ended up going to school for a few [...]

Tell us about yourself. Where are you from originally? How did you get to where you are today? I come form a small town in northern Florida on the Georgia boarder, Havana, a town that looks like it’s been thrown back to the 20′s or 30′s with tumbleweed blowin’ through the streets. I moved around [...]
