Welcome to All Things Girl, Kelli! Tell our readers three things they should know about you.
Three things you should know about me: I’m a born and raised California girl, I love my job, and my fans mean the world to me!

You’re a professionally trained dancer, a singer and an actress. When did you first become interested in performing arts? Which would you consider to be your first love?
I first became interested in performing arts when I was 4 years old. Dance was my first love, and to this day, it’s still a passion of mine.
How did you get your start as an actress?
Ironically, I actually got my start in acting through dance! When I was 9 years old, I participated in a school production in which I was a featured dancer. There was a talent scout at the performance, and she recommended me to an agency. I always wanted to try acting, so I thought it would be a great opportunity to take!
Many of our readers will recognize you from Disney XD’s Lab Rats. For anyone who hasn’t seen the show, tell us a little about the premise.
Lab Rats is about my two brothers and I who have been given bionic abilities. I have super speed, my younger brother has super intelligence, and my older brother has super strength. We were created by a billionaire inventor/scientist, and have lived in an underground lab our entire lives. Our inventor gets married, and now has a new stepson, Leo. Leo accidentally discovers the lab and becomes our first real friend! He introduces us to life outside of the lab and shows us new and interesting things like school, the beach, new people, etc. We must adjust to this new lifestyle while still hiding our bionic powers.
Tell us about your character, Bree. How are you different? Alike?
My character, Bree, is a very outgoing girl. She has a bubbly personality with a slight sense of sarcasm. She’s very confident around her brothers and when using her bionic abilities. However, when she is introduced to the real world, she becomes insecure. She realizes that she must now adjust to certain trends, ways of life, and be expected to act like a normal girl. With the help of her family, she evolves into the girl she’s always wanted to be and becomes more confident in herself.
I’m similar to her in several ways. I have a very outgoing personality and most of the time, I’m full of energy! Also, when I was younger, I had to deal with insecurities as well. Going through school, I was always picked on for being the shortest kid in the class. As the years went on, I didn’t let it bother me and I became more confident in myself. One thing that makes me different from Bree, however, is her two brothers! I only have a sister.

You’re quite the fashionista. You’ve already made a few best-dressed lists. What is it that you love so much about fashion? How would you define your personal style?
What I love about fashion is being able to express myself and simply show people who I am! My personal style is a mixture of a lot of things. I love to mix and match prints and designs and sometimes go out on a limb. I always want to be 100% comfortable in whatever I’m wearing. If I’m not comfortable, how am I supposed to feel confident while wearing it! I really love pastel colors to show my “bright” personality, and floral designs to show my girly side. I always love finishing off my outfit with the perfect touch of small, dainty jewelry. I also have a major obsession with wedges and high-heels!
You support the Audrey Hepburn Cares Team in Los Angeles (through the LA Children’s Hospital). Tell us about the project and how you got involved.
The Cares Team is something I recently became involved with. The organization deals with children who have been abused and who need a safe place to be. This subject matter actually sparked my interest a few years ago. I read a book called A Child Called It which is a true story about a young boy who was abused by his family. This really affected me and I wanted to get involved with an organization that helps children like him. The Cares Team is near and dear to my heart.
What else do you like to do when you’re not working or volunteering?
In my spare time, I always love spending time with my family and friends. I make sure that I keep all of my personal relationships balanced, even with an extremely busy schedule! I also enjoy taking dance classes at different dance studios.
Tell readers how they can connect with you on Twitter, Facebook and the web.
There are several places in which anyone and everyone can connect with me! My Twitter username is: @kelliberglund, and my Facebook fan page is Facebook.com/TheKelliBerglund. I’m working on putting up a website soon, too! My fans mean everything to me, and I wouldn’t be doing what I do without their support. Sending all my love! xo
