Debra, this photo is absolutely beautiful. It brings me back to my days on Martha’s Vineyard where travel by bicycle is still one of the best ways to get around. The colors are stunning and the lighting perfect. I wish I could read what it says on the wall above the bike. Do you happen to know?
Hi, Dee Ann!. The photo was taken in The Haugue outside a florist shop – and the writings on the wall were in Dutch. I’ll have to ask a girlfriend of mine who lives there.
I loved our time in the Netherlands. People went everywhere by bike. I loved seeing people with their kids and groceries heading home in the evenings!
